Though the M-61 ProSmooth Retinol Serum may be a little steep for the average pocketbook you really only need a couple of pumps to cover your entire face, "maybe" a hair more for your neck. At least that's what I've noticed using it for a week now. It's consistancy is liquid enough and such that using your finger tips it spreads out easily over your skin. Absorbs well and leaves my skin soft to the touch. I've been mainly using it at night before bed. Intially to see how it worked on it's own as well as how my skin would react to using it, I decided to forego applying a moisturizer on top of it for the first couple of nights. I didn't experience any redness or irritation so I started using my normal moisturizer for the remainder of the week.I wish I could be that one person who reports back on a product with having experienced earth shattering results lol but I'm never going to sugar coat or exaggerate for the sake of inflating a products performance. I do perceive a slight improvement in the teture or appearance of my skin. At least in terms of my skin looking healthy. I can't say that laugh lines or any others have diminished substantially or to the degree to make me say WOW. While I do know that retinol and vitamin C can be very beneficial for your skin and have used products containing them over the years, nothing has ever made me feel like I've found the proverbial "fountain of youth". I think in reality it bascially comes down to more about maintaining your current skin's condition to diminish any future or additional effects on your skin due to aging and enviromental exposure.So like most products I've tried I'll continue to use this until it's gone and if over the course of it decide I liked it enough I'll purchase it again. Like most people though I'll probably be like "Ok what should I try next?"
