This. Was. A. Hit. Absolutely fantastic hot pot base!! Everything we put in it came out so full of flavor!! I used mozzarella, spring onion, beef, pork dumplings, imitation crab meat, scallops, firm tofu, zucchini, and noodles. I even wrapped ingredients in romaine lettuce. Honestly thrilled with how good it was. Accompanied with a refreshing, fizzy sake and yogurt cocktail drink, it was PERFECT for a cold day.Someone in another review mentioned a curry flavor. I could kind of taste that in the spicy one, but it was an after taste and wasn't too strong. The spice was spicy, but not to the point where I felt hot or needed to chug milk. Nice and mild with a bit of a kick.At $10 per package (spicy and plain), I was hesitant. But now I'm absolutely ordering more.
