I used this pickup tool immediately after I received them. I had dropped a few nuts and bolts behind my workbench and it had no problem picking them up. This tool is much sturdier when fully extended compared to other cheaper ones I've used in the past. Very well made and solid for a smaller magnetic pickup tool. But the best thing about this tool compared to others on the market is the flexible head. This function alone is what sets it apart from all the other pickup tools on the market. You can get into harder to reach places and pick up things at different angles.For this size (just under 5.5 inches when collapsed), it is the perfect tool to carry in your pocket in case of an emergency. For me, this is a wonderful addition to my EDC tool kit.
