This review is for The Soft Cream, it contains a refill capsule for the 2 oz jar/system. So, you pop the capsule into your original jar (the 2 oz jar) which is a really cool idea and reduces the waste of throwing away used jars.I am a big fan of the product because it looks like it would be very dense and rich, but it has a lovely melting quality and feels much lighter on the skin than I expected the first time I tried it. Best way I can explain is to stay it makes my skin feel cushioned and soft very quickly. Not greasy at all.I should mention my skin can be quite irritable, I'm in my mid 40s with combination skin (heavy on the oil on the cheeks and jaw and still experience breakouts on the cheeks and chin area occasionally.) So my skin can flare up fast when I use products that are very rich or hydrating. I did use this cautiously at first, and after using the cream for a few months I can confidently say there has been no irritation for me and of course I did not hesitate to order this refill.There is a thicker/heavier version (Rich Cream) that is for really intense hydration, but I prefer this one because it gives me soft, well hydrated results with skin that feels plump and pampered - without worry of skin reactions. My fine lines look softer, I would say this has kind of a blurring effect that is just beautiful.*The process for replacing the capsule is easy. With your empty jar, lightly twist the empty capsule to unlock it and remove it from the jar. Pop the new capsule into the empty jar and twist lightly clockwise until it clicks. It's then locked into place and you can remove the seal and use it as usual.
