Feels refreshing and soothing. The scent is gender-neutral, even though this is intended for men. I am sensitive to scents, and this reminds me of a light musk with citrus, but it does fade over 20 minutes or so. The Lab Series Oil Control Mattifying Toner with Salicylic acid is a much higher price point than the drug store options, but it works well. My skin does not feel too dry after using, even though it contains salicylic so it might help to prevent and lessen breakouts. Many similar toners smell medicinal, whereas this one smells fresh and clean. Though it is marketed as a “men’s” product, the scent is refreshing and would work for any gender. My partner and I both enjoy using this toner.
