La Roche-Posay Redermic R Eyes Retinol Eye Cream, Anti-Aging Eye Cream to Reduce Wrinkles and Dark Circles With Pure Retinol and Caffeine, 0.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

On my face I use a strong retinol cream prescribed to me by my dermatologist. It was intended to help with my acne, which it did, but it also helped with the general appearance of my skin. So, yey! for retinol. The skin under my eyes is very dry and sensitive, though I do not have deep wrinkles (I am 50). Therefore, my main goal for that area is to moisturize and postpone the appearance of wrinkles. I have found it challenging to find a good retinol moisturizing cream that would not aggravate skin sensitivity. I have to say this La Roche-Posay cream fits the bill. It is also half the price of the Murad retinol eye cream I had been using (and for me is a better moisturizer and not as aggravating to sensitive skin). The cap is difficult to open and you must be careful not to squeeze the cream out while trying to open it. That would be the only downside I could think of. So, be gentle while handling the tube. Other then that, the cream arrived well packaged and sealed. It only requires a small amount to apply, so it will last a long time. The instructions say you should apply it in nighttime, to avoid sunlight (retinol treated skin is sensitive to sunlight). I have been using the cream night AND day, without issues (I work indoors though). I give my eyes a break from retinol every few days and use medical grade vaseline. So far, so good. Now, if you expect this cream, or any other cream, to reverse wrinkles, you will walk away disappointed with this purchase. I doubt there is anything in this world that can do that.
