I'm fairly miserly, meaning I don't like to spend much money on stuff when there is a cheaper alternative. However, in the case of hair conditioner, I'm willing to shell out the extra dough. I used this for two years and fell in love with it. It really does maintain my hair dye and smells wonderful.Recently, I decided I wanted to try some cheaper supermarket brands, in order to save some money. I tried 4 different brands (which I won't list here) to no avail. I have naturally curly hair that I straighten. They left my hair greasy and easily tangled, even after straightening. In addition, I was very sensitive to the chemicals in those products. Finally, I sucked it up and went back to my old standby, KMS. I used to buy it from a fancy salon, but it's MUCH cheaper on Amazon. I've used some other lines of KMS, including 'flat out' and 'curl up,' and they're all really, really great products. Really.
