I’ve been using products from Kiehl's for years. It’s one of the few skincare brands that consistently works for my very dry, extremely sensitive facial skin. Their facial cream has been one of my must-have skincare products for a long time, so when I came across these patches I decided to give them a try.Before putting anything new on my face, I always check the ingredients. These patches contain no fragrance and no active acids, which is important for sensitive skin. I also noticed they don’t include common active ingredients such as salicylic acid, or botanical additions like tea tree oil, aloe, or centella that are often found in similar products. Instead, they function purely as hydrocolloid patches that absorb oil and fluid from the blemish.I only get occasional pimples and they’re usually fairly shallow, so pimple patches tend to work well for me. This set includes two sizes, 10 mm and 12 mm. For my needs both feel somewhat large. The patches themselves are thin, though not as ultra-thin as some versions from other brands, so they remain visible if you try to wear them under makeup. In my experience they work best when applied overnight.One thing I noticed right away is how adhesive they are. Compared with other patches I’ve used, these stick more firmly and stay securely in place once applied.On my very dry and extremely sensitive skin they don’t cause irritation, redness, or any uncomfortable sensation. I apply them in the evening after cleansing my face and remove them in the morning, usually after about 8 to 10 hours. By morning they usually flatten small pimples and draw out visible fluid from the spot. They work particularly well on whiteheads or blemishes that have already come to a head. For deeper, cystic acne they’re less useful.The pack contains 22 patches, which is fewer than many similar products, while the price is higher. In my experience they work about the same as some less expensive options.
