This curry did not get off to a good start: there was a mysterious piece of plastic film inside with the powder, and though instructions stressed that adding the correct amount of water was critical, the amount was not specified. The QR code on the package for a video recipe went nowhere, and the brand website does not exist. But the review must go on so I added a cup of boiling water, which was probably not enough judging by the pictures, but the result was a flavorful and comforting curry. It was a little too hot, but not too bad, and might be about right mixed with rice. But at $19 it's a terrible value for only 1 small serving, even if it really is organic. Even as an authentic curry that could be used for backpacking or some special case the premium is too high. Maybe some of the questionable aspects can be overlooked for a newly launched product, but the price can't.
