I bought this for my husband because the rare rose face oil was out for some reason. Calendula is anti-inflammatory so I thought this would be a great replacement. To that I say: meh and no. I personally like the smell, smells kind of vanilla-y. However, it’s not very moisturizing. The rare rose oil is perfect, I use it in the morning and it provides enough moisture even in the So Cal winter for the day. But this stuff leaves your face feeling dry and a lot of times we have to follow it up with some Toups & Co lavendar tallow balm (the combo of the calendula oil and this lavendar balm leaves your face smelling amazing - not too strong). Anyways, it’s a pass for us!
