Jointown Nitrile Gloves (size M) suit my needs really well. I think they’re better than many nitrile gloves I’ve used in other brands and even some made by Jointown that ripped more easily.These gloves labeled made of “synthetic nitrile latex” rather than latex. The box has about 200 single use gloves (by weight, not count) that are black, non sterile and powder free.I can typically wear size M or L in nitrile gloves (wear size L in women’s fashion gloves), but L can run loose on me and M is usually the better fit. The size M in these fit me well as they fit close enough that my dexterity is good, but don’t tear and aren’t a struggle to put on. I have a little excess room at the wrists, but I have narrow wrists and these don’t gape open like many gloves. My palms are about 3” wide and I have rather long fingers (longest about 3-1/4”).These gloves are described as exam gloves, though I’m not in the medical profession and can’t address whether they’re suitable for that purpose. I’ve certainly used thicker nitrile gloves that may be better for some medical and other purposes, but the really good thick ones tend to be unnecessary for my needs and have been hard to find for years. I don’t see anything about food use or compliance with food contact regs.I generally find these good for my single use short term wear, and the thickness is just right for my needs. These are a little thicker than even some other Jointown nitrile gloves I’ve used that were thin and fragile so they tore easily. Fo me, these are a good thickness for general use. I haven’t had tearing issues with these Jointown gloves so far, but they aren’t made to use to use for multiple tasks over time (fingers will wear through etc).I especially like wearing these gloves for light cleanup and other uses where I want to avoid contact with certain materials, such as when wiping residual dust and dirt on surfaces related to renovations currently in the home. I wear these gloves to avoid direct contact with chemicals or germs and give my dry hands a break from constant hand washing that dries and irritants my hands.I’ve used these for household tasks, such as handling raw poultry, picking up and taking out garbage, scrubbing the toilet, disinfecting the sink and so on. More heavy duty gloves are needed for a day of cleaning, but these hold up well to specific tasks. I keep some handy in the car and my purse as I like to use then when pumping gas or handling things with lots of community germs but nowhere to readily wash. I would purchases these so I recommend them. 5 stars. Made in China.
