As someone who battles extremely sensitive ankles, I find it very hard to tolerate any tight elastic that might restrict the circulation in my legs. For years, I’ve had a routine where I stretch out the elastic on every new pair of socks by stuffing them with towels for days or sometimes even weeks.And so I am genuinely amazed that these JOBST compression socks not only work but are also comfortable. My strange, old stretching routine is entirely unnecessary with these socks!My legs feel wonderful when I wear them, and my feet and ankles do not swell up anymore. The support is perfect. The socks fit as expected according to the size chart. They are not painfully tight, but firm enough to prevent swelling.The secret is their SoftFit Band at the top of the knee high. Unlike other compression socks where the elastic band cuts in and pinches, this band stays put all day without rolling or pinching. The pressure feels even all the way down to the tips of my toes.I ordered the Khaki, Large, Knee High socks, and the fit is bang on. No joke, I'm so happy I took a chance on these. If your doctor suggests you would benefit from compression socks, I highly recommend giving these JOBST socks a try.
