I ordered the JLO Beauty That Spotlight Silhouette Firming Neck Serum because it is never too early to start on wrinkle prevention. As they say, your neck tells your real age.My first impression was the presentation. No box and the box overly shiny rose gold. It screams mature skin product. The reflective surface makes it impossible to read anything printed on it and I like to read the ingredients.The formula surprised me. It came out of the pump looking like a serum that promised hydration. It had me wondering why I was getting more of thet oil feel than water--more moisturizing than hydrating--as I was gently massaging it into my skin. It did absorb well, but this product definitely sits on top of the skin feel. It isn't lightweight as you'd expect.That said the ingredient list is genuinely impressive (I looked it up online). It contains S-Mu-Conotoxin, a premium neuropeptide that works similarly to Botox to relax expression lines, plus a solid lineup of growth factor peptides, Red Algae, and two forms of Hyaluronic Acid.What stood out most was how gentle it is. No irritation whatsoever for Mom and for me. My usual neck cream (Strivectin) didn't work for mom. It is also not cooling, which makes it more comfortable for winter use for my mom. She complains about that.I would recommend this for mature or dry skin types who want rich nourishment without irritation. This has no fragrance, just the scent of ingredients. I do prefer neck rollers, but pumps work well for ease of application too.Regarding value, I think the price is reasonable for the ingredients and neck products in general
