This is a great product to help avoid that pasty-looking face in the winter months. I am pretty fair complected, tan easily and have several freckles (and a few age spots). I use the medium tone with 1-2 drops mixed with my night-time face lotion. I do my best to rub evenly across my face, right into my hairline, down my throat, and around the back of my neck. I don't have any noticeable tanlines where the application stops - just a nice balanced, naturally-tanned looking skin tone on my face. I do wash my hands right away to make sure I don't have any stains on my hands after application. I could probably use the light colored drops but I figured I would use the medium with less drops and get "more bang for my buck".
