Isle of Paradise Bronzed Bestsellers 3 Piece Self-Tanning Set, Medium Self-Tan Drops, Express Tinted Self-Tan Mousse, Streak-Free Tanner, Hydrating Formula with Hyaluronic Acid & Niacinamide

I have never used a self tanner before, but have been curious about using them to build a base before the late summers occur in the Pacific Northwest. I recently had the opportunity to order and try the Isle of Paradise Bronzed Bestseller Set. This is a perfect set for trying self tanning without having negative results that might steer you towards not wanting to try them again. This includes a really nice self-tanning mitt that is so well made, very soft and easy to use while wearing. I love that it has built in hyaluronic acid fibers. = Additionally, this set includes a mini bottle of the medium self tanning drops and a mini tinted express mousse. Both self-tanners are applied differently. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. With the drops, you must mix with a body lotion before applying. I tested the drops on my left thigh. After about 24 hours, my left thigh has a nice but not overly tanned color compared to the rest of my olive toned skin on that leg. On my right thigh, I tested the mousse, using the mitt. After about 30 minutes I washed it off, and was able to see an immediate slight color change. After 24 hours, that thigh also had a nice but not overly dark tanner color. Ultimately, on my skin, both had about the same level of color from one application. I did not have any adverse reactions to either product, and had absolutely no streaks or orange coloring at all and I was careful to ensure I massaged the body lotion thoroughly with my hands, and the mousse thoroughly with swiping motions on with the mitt. I did use a minimal amount of product for my first test and am currently unsure if adding more product would result in a deeper color. I appreciate the thoughtful ingredients in the formulations. Next time I use, I will be doing my full legs, arms, neck, face and will leave on longer before washing off to see how deep of a bronzed tan I can achieve as 30 minutes didn’t change my skin shade by enough of a dramatic difference - but that’s due to my skin’s natural olive tone. Overall, I love this set and am so excited by the quality and effectiveness of providing quick bronzing without streaking or orange coloring. I would absolutely buy these products again along with others from the Isle of Paradise brand. Price-wise, this is a great set to dip your toe in the water before making a larger investment!
