There are a lot of health benefits to Omega-3's and mackerel is one of the top three natural sources. Mackerel in brine has a more 'fishy' taste to it and, although I don't find it objectionable, mackerel in tomato sauce is excellent without a lot of fish taste. Eating a small portion most days I find the Iberia brand in tomato sauce variety more enjoyable. The tomato sauce tastes good and I normally just eat the mackerel and sauce alone, but over rice or with paste it would also be good. Canned mackerel is also economical and ready to eat right out of the can, since it's already been cooked. Highly recommended.
