I was super excited to try this product and had high expectations for it. My friend SWEARS by HydroPeptide products and said they work well for her combination skin. I totally have to agree!!Unlike other peels, this product doesn't actually "peel." It IS a leave on treatment. I apply after showering in the evening when my face is squeaky clean. The product is pretty lightweight, goes on smoothly, and absorbs fairly well. I have combination skin which is oily in some areas so my skin doesn't soak up the moisture like those with super dry skin. The product left my skin a tad tacky but not tight or greasy. It wasn't bothersome whatsoever. The instructions say you can apply a moisturizer or serum afterwards, and those with super dry skin would probably prefer to do so, but I didn't. My skin felt just fine after only using this product. (plus, I wanted to make sure my skin soaked up nothing but HydroPeptide goodness) :)I applied 3x per week. If you experience flaking or extreme dryness, you can try cutting it down to twice per week.In the morning, my skin still felt a little bit sticky. I washed my face like normal and applied my SPF moisturizer. My skin looked and felt great after only a few uses!After using for 2 weeks (3x per week), I have definitely noticed positive results. My skin looks more radiant and the fine lines around my eyes are diminished. Not completely gone but I do see some improvement. My complexion is more even, too.I don't have sensitive skin but sometimes, products like this can be irritating. I didn't experience any burning, stinging, redness, or flaking. Super impressed!
