I've used a variety of these ampules from different brands. Glass ampules are difficult to get used to since we instinctively try not to break glass ... and, here, your goal is to snap the top off. Now, the first few times I did this, I had on a variety of different gloves ... because I was really nervous. But, the more that you do this, the more you become accustom to it. So, don't worry.Now, this Comfort Zone series has a nice device for breaking the tip of the glass vials. I really like that it has a closed top since I'm used to the tube type devices that are open on both ends: with these other brands, when you break the top of the vial, the glass cap often shoots out. Not here though! The closed top keeps everything nicely contained. Grand! (This device also allows you to "save" some of the product in case it is too much for one use.)The product itself is a little greasy/oily. That's unusual for a product like this. Therefore, I wore it as long as I could but then washed it off before bed (to protect my linens). My skin seemed a little more hydrated as a result of its use.I may continue to use these on my days off (when I can put my hair in a bun and let this just go to work on my skin).
