Though these facial serums are meant to be used together, due to the oiliness of the Lapis one, I find I do best to use them separately. Use them however best works for you. I have mature combination skin and still have to be cautious about how much oil I put on my face, though there are times when it's quite beneficial for me.The yellow Nova serum works well for me any day that I decide to use this. Feels good on my face and absorbs well. Moisturizes and conditions the skin without the extra unwanted surface residuals. Works great with other skincare products. But the blue Lapis is very oily. It's a clean oil and is excellent for the skin, but it's just too oily at times for my skin. I'd never wear it at night as a night serum because of how it would mess up my pillowcases. This is what I'll use during the day when I'm giving myself a spa day. Recently I got a lot of sun on my face. I did just that with the Lapis to give my skin an extra moisturizing treatment. It was wonderful. Very clean and soothing, but it does leave an oily, dewy layer on the skin. Many hours later, it had eventually absorbed. Made my skin look and feel great. Also, now I'm much more likely to go straight to tan without the peeling. It also made my skin feel amazingly soft and smooth.A very good skincare set that I would mostly recommend to those with dry and/or more mature skin.
