Bought this for use on the Farm as scalpels do get used on occasion. This is hand held size and fits great into a vet kit or vet bucket to go down to the barn with. Easy and safe to stick in your scalpel on the handle to remove the used blade and remove the handle to put in a box to be cleaned or for the next steps you are doing - maybe a new or different sized blade. No sharps on left on the ground by accident or dropped and no one is accidently cut. The box has held up great and will hold many more blades than I have used before I dispose of it. I am very happy with this and the size is very handy to be able to take with or for more personal use. Small and compact, but holds many blades and none have come out or shown any spots where the plastic may break, even after being tossed in a vet bucket with iodine and such a few times. Would purchase again and probably could use a second for Vet Kit and one for in Barn - anywhere there might be scalpel use.
