Recent User Experience

I was fortunate to get the actual 24 boxes of rice as opposed to just 1, but even if I just got 1 box; it's really not bad. The confusing part was doing it in the microwave because I anticipated this being a put it on the stovetop and boil recipe. There aren't any instructions for stovetop, but there are instructions for microwave. For me, I skipped the microwave and boiled water in the kettle and then set it in a container with the rice and a tablespoon of olive oil and mixed it. Covered it for 5 minutes and we had nice fluffy rice. The corn didn't rehydrate as much as I thought it would, but it really isn't bad tasting. I can taste the chicken bouillon in the rice and it is just a subtle flavor. I made quesadillas tonight and we had it with a side of black beans and the rice. I thought it made a nice easy dish to go with it. It is definitely an easy one to doctor up, but just know it comes with a high sodium content. You don't want to eat this all the time, but it makes a good meal occasionally. I'm going to try it out on the stove next time to see if it gets the same results.
