I love to make soups in the winter and this makes it more affordable than buying one or two packages at the market. I add veggies, sometimes smoked sausages, etc. Sometimes shredded beef, chicken, or turkey. Very tasty! And I like my Instant Pot for timesaving.I soak the beans for 15 to 30 minutes and then cook them in the Instant Pot for about the same time. Then, I pour off the water and add the rest of my ingredients, some herbal seasonings, and good organic bone broth. And cook again for a few minutes.I don't add salt or acids until the cooking is done. Yum!So handy to have a case of these great beans.
