The Globe Scientific 1401-20 glass cover slip measures 18 x 18mm and has a #2 (0.21mm) thickness. It fits standard 25 x 75mm slides (sold separately) and keeps specimens compressed to a layer of even thickness. Packages are wrapped in aluminum foil to seal out moisture and contain a desiccant. The case contains 10, 1oz. boxes of cover slips, each with approximately 168 cover slips. Recent User Experience

Purchased for a polarized light microscopy laboratory when on a tight budget. They work. Not the high quality scientific-grade ones I've usually bought. The description is accurate. They are glass and scratch-resistant. They are packaged well in the little plastic boxes. I have to deduct one star because the manufacturing process is not that clean. There are small pieces of dust on every cover slip. That will not be a problem for routine production light microscopy work or science education work. However, if you are doing research work or need to take high quality photos where you don't want little pieces of dust in the photo, get something better and more expensive.
