I will admit, I took this out and put it away more times than I can count. This is not a "fun" face mask loaded with glitter and scented with strawberries. This is the real deal! It looks like something you would find in your college chem lab. So, you need your patience, you need time, and you need exactitude. So, go into this when you have the day free and can move step by step and with tremendous care.Since there is an excess of product here (deliberately), I started with the back of my one hand (because I was afraid I would be sensitive to the product). I followed all instructions precisely and, with no negative reaction, moved on to my face (same day). I let me body tell me when to move on if I felt uncomfortable and wanted to shorten the time of the active component of the peel just a bit.The overall experience was a bit nerve-racking but if you do it once or twice, I think it will become second nature ... and so much more convenient than my dermatologist's office! And, the more you use these, the more you will be willing to "push the envelope" a bit. The results were good, but I was timid about the process ... next time, I will feel more confident! Recommended!
