I have been looking for a backrest for my Gibraltar Pro Oversized Motorcycle Style Throne (S9608OS).I finally settled on this particular one but, I needed to wait for my next payday. What a blessing that turned out to be! Amazon was offering a "Used-Like New" GGSLBR for about $23!When it arrived, there was a problem in that it was missing one of the knobs. There should have been two (2) but only one (1) came in the box. I immediately contacted Amazon regarding this and all they could do was issue me a $5 credit on my next purchase. Being that the price was so amazing that I agreed.Then, I contacted Gibraltar via their website and let them know what happened. To my UTTER AMAZEMENT Hal Leonard (the parent company) sent me a replacement knob free of charge!This kind of Customer Service is becoming harder and harder to find. Suffice to say that Gibraltar Hardware and Hal Leonard have a customer FOR LIFE in me! I will make Gibraltar my FIRST CHOICE for all my drumming hardware purchases.The backrest is absolutely PERFECT for my throne. I should note that it is not a "Universal" backrest but seems to be intended for Gibraltar thrones with a receiver in the mounting plate.The quality is TOP NOTCH! It is sturdy and seems like it will last a very long time.I absolutely recommend this for your Gibraltar throne if you have been thinking about getting one!
