It's a cute first period kit where pink is the main color. It comes in a light pink keepsake card box with happy themed prints of bunnies, flowers, butterflies and more, which I like because it makes the experience feel special. It has many practical things. Among them is a checkered pink pouch that is small and fits in a backpack. The checkered pattern is barely noticeable. The pouch has a zipper and has two compartments inside. It holds pads, wipes, and a few other items neatly. I find that it works as both a period bag and a small makeup pouch later on. That makes it useful beyond just one purpose. The design is simple and not too childish.The kit includes 3 sealed day pads, 2 sealed night pads, 5 sealed wet wipes, and 5 disposal bags. I see that a beautiful light pink hair tie, a keychain with an adorable pink teddy bear, a small, shiny, smooth and bright pink drawstring bag and some fancy stickers are also included. These extras don’t change how the kit works, but they add a personal touch. There's a waterproof paper period tracker. I think it's important to teach girls to keep track of their periods for health reasons.
