This is a nice exfoliator. It really has some grit so if your skin is sensitive I’d be careful. I put a think layer on and gently rubbed it on my face. Left it on for 7 minutes (I was told that was the magic number). Then before washing off with warm water I gently rubbed again to get any of the exfoliated skin off. After a warm wash my face felt so nice and smooth. It was a little red but that went away after 30 minutes. Don’t use more than once or twice a week and wait a day or two after using a retinol cream or shaving (if you are a guy).
