After using these for 10 years for my 6x per week Ashtanga yoga practice, I can honestly say that these braces protect the wrist while allowing the flexibility needed to do handstands and other arm balances.They do take a bit to break in, be patient!I even wore one during a round of golf once, I don't recommend doing that unless absolutely necessary:).This is a great product and I will buy them as long as they are available!
