This is not a color I would choose for myself but I was intrigued because I am a big fan of this brand. I use the Creme Lait everyday and all year and just love it. This cosmetic does the brand justice.The balm is a lovely texture, is not at all drying and has just enough shimmer without looking like glitter. On my lips I find it easier to get complete coverage, but Mocha is not a shade I would use there. But the balm is a great bronzer on my cheeks and can add some dimension to my eyelids as a contouring shade. I have a light olive complexion and I think the color is a touch too ruddy for me as eye-shadow. On my lips it is very brown, which I don’t love as it doesn’t match my gums. That’s the color I like to match for my lips, because I think it is the most flattering. The Mocha color is very pretty, but will have varied effect on different complexions. It is also not dark nor rich enough for me to use for contouring.This balm feels great on your skin, blends easily to a sheer finish and can be applied anywhere. There was no flaking or glittery debris around my eyes, and as a balm you can certainly layer powder cosmetics over it for more depth and color pay-off. For the right complexion, it would be a perfect first cosmetic for a young person who is new to makeup since you can use it all over your face.I think I was able to snag this as a new color launch and though the shade isn’t my favorite I would absolutely try the other colors. I found other shades available thru online retailers and I’m on the hunt for the Nude Pink shade for myself. The other tones are Red and a more vibrant pink, which I wouldn’t choose to put on my eyelids. I’ve seen a wide range of pricing but it seems like $20-30 would reasonable to pay. For a 3-in-1 product I think its a great product and you can expect the same quality and skin-friendly ingredients from this brand.
