I’ve used this scented moisturizer from Elizabeth Arden for four days in a row. I’m normally a basic, unscented lotion sort of fella, and I do need to be diligent about moisturizing. My skin gets particularly dry in the winter, so I received this product at a really good time for testing.I’ll start with the fragrance. As a man, I think I can fairly assess this to be a feminine scent. It isn’t seductive, but it’s soft and fruity and sweet. As a man who has been sharing the moisturizer with his wife, I can also add her confirmation that it’s pretty feminine. The fragrance that the product imparts to my skin doesn’t last very long, nor does it project the way we would expect from perfume. It’s a very pleasant experience to use it, but it doesn't interfere with any fragrance that I happen to be wearing.The texture is very nice, and it gets absorbed into my skin much more quickly than my usual lotion. The process of applying is quick and convenient. The wide-mouth jar allows for fairly precise portioning compared to a dispensing pump. The size of the jar is generous, and should last several months at our current use.I apply this body cream after my evening shower and again to my hands and arms while I’m getting dressed in the mornings. I will apply standard hand lotion during the day due to handwashing, but other than that, Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Strawberry Basil Honey Drops does the job. It is a very effective moisturizer, and never feels greasy.Given the effectiveness, aroma, ease of use, and the size of the jar, I consider this product to be a good value. It is a high quality product and I would expect it to cost meaningfully more than generic alternatives.
