There are many things about this I do like: it's a good value (10 blocks per bag), it heats up pretty quickly (which makes it easy to use), and the quality seems pretty good.However, I thought the flavor was a little... lacking? It has some nice aromatics and all that, but the flavor itself felt like it was 90% tomato. To confirm, I made one for a friend of mine who's actually Vietnamese, and he agreed that the flavor is a little weak and simple. If you use more than one cube, or use less water overall, this will help, but it might also make it too salty.I think the best use for this is as part of a more complex stock, where you'd be adding other ingredients and flavors. Relying on this as the only flavor for your soup is probably gonna disappoint you.
