I am someone who has never liked the taste of salt. If it is an ingredient I do not want to taste it.At one point it had never occurred to me to try pinto beans, however, my dietitian recommended adding them to my diet. Thank goodness that Eden manufactures pinto beans without added salt! (Plus, it saves me oodles of time not to prepare them "from scratch"!) The flavor is excellent, and the pinto beans have an excellent consistency. For the longest time I have made sure to keep Eden Organic Pinto Beans in my pantry. I like to have them with steamed vegetables or salad to replace meat. Of course, you can fix them in a way that suits your taste as well.
