I love my Saalt soft regular and Venus large cups, but was looking for an alternative due to my long perimenopausal periods and frequent spotting. I have a very high cervix and some days it took a bit too long to remove my cups, plus the almost daily use made my vagina sore. I have an IUD, but cups and discs are generally safe, so no concern there.I chose the ecoblossom as a starter disc due to the price. I also wanted an aid for easy removal because I have a high cervix and I am plus size. This disc more than met my expectations. It is easier to insert and remove than my cups, it is comfortable, I have no leaks and the removal string works like a charm.The disc is soft with a medium firmness, so it slides in easily with a little bit of water. The large does look big, but slims down like a tampon when pressed for insertion. The string sticks out a bit for me, but it does not cause irritation. I plan to trim it at some point. Removal is messier than a cup, but I feel comfortable with my blood so I don’t mind it. It fits perfectly in my cup sanitizer. I do not like the storage baggy, but that does not take away from the product itself.This disc has helped make my perimenopausal periods significantly more manageable. While I still plan to use my cups on some days, this disc is my official go-to. I highly recommend it!
