I'd been doing some repetitive lifting recently, where somehow magically for the first time in my life, gave myself sciatica. Never have I ever, and never would I like to again. I had no idea. My mom had sciatica, I knew it was painful from what she went through, just experiencing it yourself is something different. I never really learned to lift properly, hadn't had cause. Now though it's a regular task, still, and trying to practice proper lift techniques. Something about being in my 40s and used to just being bendy and doing things is weirdly prohibitive.This brace is great. It's super comfortable, while my back was tweaked it'd prevent me from doing anything to hurt or make it worse. Now it's super useful as a "don't do that" restriction on what I inevitably keep attempting to return to do.I couldn't have anticipating wanting or needing one of these, but I'm super glad to have it now. Based on the style my stepdad wears, I think this is a pretty good one. Been working great for me.
