I’m pleased with the performance, and though it’s not miraculous, it does brighten and smooth. Yes, it’s viscous and does dry down to a sticky texture, which really doesn’t matter at night once moisturizer goes over it. As for day, I’ve discovered that on its own or as a top layer over well-absorbed moisturizer—without any other product over it—the thick and tacky texture makes it work surprisingly well as a primer. Like, better than a lot of primers—it really grabs onto a foundation formulated with silicones.
