Dermalogica Warmth of the Winter Sun – Travel Sized Skin Care Set Includes Face Exfoliants, Facial Serum, and Moisturizer with SPF

This is a nice little travel kit for skincare on the go. It comes with three travel sized skincare solutions: a daily microfoliant in a 0.45oz size, a biolumin-c serum in a 0.34oz size, and a biolumin-c heat aging protector with spf 50 in a 0.5oz size. All within size for airplane travel through TSA. I especially like the microfoliant for travel as it comes in powder form (not liquid) so you can put it in your carryon (we often only do carryon) and don't have to use up any space in the liquids travel container. The system starts with the microfoliant, which is used after you wash your face. You slightly dampen your hands and then pour some powder into your fingertips and gently massage onto your face in circular motions. I love this type of exfoliant! This one works particularly well to exfoliate without irritating. It leaves the skin soft and glowing with a fresh look. The biolumin-c serum is a vitamin c serum that is meant to as an antioxidant and brightener. Sometimes vitamin c serums can cause breakouts but this one hasn't yet. A little goes a long way (which is a good thing b/c it is indeed a travel size). The biolumin-c heat aging protector spf 50 goes on next and acts as a moisturizer as well as a sun protector. This moisturizer is also a vitamin c product which is meant to help with brightening of the skin and has the added benefit of an spf, which I really like. This also did not cause me to break-out and I feel it goes on without any white cast and absorbs well. In all, I think this is a great value skincare solution for travel, or even just to check out the Dermalogica products to see if it works with your skin and whether you want the larger sizes before committing fully. I would definitely recommend. I give 4 stars instead of 5 simply because I haven't used it quite long enough, however the amount of time I have used it I have been very pleased with the products.
