If you were on the hunt for magic in a jar, look no further!Let me start off by saying I’ve been using Lush Henna Rouge twice a year for the last few years, and this stuff twice a week (at least) once the henna starts to fade, about 2-3 months in. Not only is it comparable to the henna shade and keeps my color vibrant and bright, but it smells nice and gives my hair the ultimate volume (and tames my frizz, simultaneously). I’ve got naturally wavy hair that’s reallllly dry and oftentimes conditioners either moisturize too much and leave my hair limp and frizz with minimal wave, or they’re next to useless and leave my hair dry and frizz with wonky waves.This? It’s like I went to a salon. I leave it on for about 10 minutes and wash 90% of it out. I air dry my hair, and it’s just amazing. Wave retention, no frizz, soft hair, voluminous, just gorgeous! There are times I’ll use it just because I’m having a rough day and want to at least have pretty hair, if nothing else.It’s not cheap, but it’s not a fortune, and if you’re switching it out with something else you can stretch it out and make it last. For me, the cost is worth it.If they ever stop making this I’ll cry. Do yourself a favor and grab a jar!
