At a minimum, every home supply kit should have on hand: WD-40, a hex-key set, a multi-bit screwdriver, electrical tape, matches, flashlights, and a box of latex gloves.A pair of the Curad brand gloves offers superior hand protection due to its tight fit (you can see the indentations of my fingernails in the pic) and elastic, but tough material. I like these gloves because they are easy to slide on, and although the hand fit is firm, the elastic around the wrist is not binding. These gloves are an excellent choice of hand protection in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor cleaning projects. I use them for kitchen projects to keep food smells off my skin: cleaning out the Thanksgiving turkey guts, skinning fish, and slicing onions. General household uses include: cleaning toilets, floors, windows, and drains; and painting projects. Your hand will smell like rubber, but it won’t smell like whatever solvent you are using.Curad offers a well-made glove at a great value with the 100-count box.
