I played 2 sports in college and this is what the trainers used to wrap ice bags for cold therapy treatment. It's really convenient, especially when you are wrapping yourself, since the handle allows you to wrap with one hand. The plastic is stretchy and holds the ice tight to your injury, which is great for those who like it really cold, and since it kind of sticks to itself, there is no need for tape. This method is MUCH colder than those stupid gel ice packs you put in the freezer, and as long as you use enough ice (and a little bit of water) it will stay cold for the full 20 min that you are icing.It was tough to find this product. They don't sell it at any of the pharmacies in the area.The trainers at school also used the Cramer ice bags, which were also great quality, and are great for the training room, but a little too expensive for me. I use good quality zip-lock sandwich bags instead.I wish it came in smaller quantity, since 6 rolls is probably a lifetime supply for me, but they will be good to have around the house.
