This jar of tomato sauce imported from Italy is wonderful when tossed with pasta. It tastes as close to fresh tomato sauce as I've found in a jar. It contains nothing more than intense Datterini tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, onion, basil, and salt. Although the jar is small, I found that it's just the right amount of sauce for a half-pound of pasta. I didn't need to dress it up or otherwise alter it for a robust tomato flavor.Yes, it's pricey for the size, but it cannot be confused with ordinary tomato sauce or most mass-market pasta sauces.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann
