COOLA Organic Moon Silk Recharging Face Moisturizer Mask, Dermatologist Tested Skin Barrier Protection with Vitamin C, Vegan and Gluten Free, 2 Fl Oz

I have been seeing this new brand, COOLA, around lately and was curious to try it. I didn't get a brush with mine, but I had one from another mask so I just used that. I picked this mask to try because I liked that the first ingredient was aloe. My skin can be very red and dehydrated and that sounded nice and moisturizing.The consistency of this mask is out of this world - buttery and smooth. There's a light fragrance but nothing overbearing. I applied a generous layer and left it on for 20 minutes. The directions say you can sleep with it, but it didn't seem to dry out enough to do that(I sleep on my side, that'd be messy.) Maybe with a thinner layer it would work as a sleep mask. Taking it off took a bit more effort than expected. Cool water didn't work, warm was much better. That makes sense after reading the ingredients. Cocoa butter can be pretty solid and dense when cold, so it was just smearing the mask around rather than rinsing it off. Also, there's a lot of mica in this - it's pretty to look at but after rinsing it off, I could see tiny mica particles all over my face. Not really my favorite. After removing my skin felt soft and hydrated. I like this mask. It's not #1 favorite but I'll continue to use it.I read up on the brand website - this product is 70% organic.
