I have used Clarins products (multiple moisturizer lines and foundations and mascaras) for more than 10 years. The Extra-Firming line of moisturizers has been my favorite for nearly 8 of those years, and they have worked well for my sensitive, dry, aging skin.Don't let the light weight of the product fool you...this moisturizer is very good. The scent is herbal and is more or less the scent of this Extra-Firming line. I find it very pleasant and I am sensitive to strong smells.My only complaints (and why I deducted nearly half a star) are around the new jar design. There is no inner cover over the opening, which will cause the product to dry out more quickly. There also is a technique that one has to learn to get the jar closed back properly.Note that the little plastic tubs inside the glass jar have a tab on one side. The tab has to rest perfectly in a groove on the side of the jar in order for the jar lid to screw on properly.There also is a flimsy tape on one side of the outer jar that is the safety tape (previously, there was plastic around the lid to prevent it from opening.Other than the jar/refillable container redesign, the product is great. The moisturizer is neither too thick nor too thin. It absorbs quickly into the skin, not leaving a buildup. It works very well after using Clarins toners (toner before night moisture helps with overall results).My skin looks refreshed and bright after using, and this product keeps it looking great.I recommend this product, and find it a fairly good value.
