I ordered this serum with high hopes. I really enjoy Clarins products as they are formulated well and have always been beneficial to my skin. I have noticed that my skin has looked a little bit ruddy after the summer and fall. This particular year has definitely had an effect on my skin. Even the winter has been rough with the dry inside air and the incredible cold. I was looking for something to help transform the tone of my skin and perhaps refine the texture of it. I always wash and dry my face before I use any new products because I have sensitive and irritation prone skin and want to make sure that I am isolating any effects from the new products. As far as this product goes, like with all Clarins products I always note how beautiful and well-designed Clarins packaging appears. They are luxurious and look luxurious. This is not the thickest serum I have ever used, but it is quite viscous and a little went a long way. I was able to put a little dot on my forehead,both cheeks, chin, and nose and a very little bit easily covered my face. It has a light scent which I enjoyed and I did not notice it after a while. It smoothed onto my face and absorbed in fairly quickly. I was careful to watch and noticed absolutely no irritation. What I did see is that the reddening in my skin immediately lessened. My face must have been somewhat irritated by the wash, and this really soothed it. My skin pores look to be a little smaller and the appearance of my skin was a bit brighter. My face looked refreshed. My face felt soft and toned and bright all day long. It looked hydrated and a little glowy. I am so appreciative of the way that Clarins formulates their products, and I am really thrilled with how this serum improved my skin‘s appearance. So glad I ordered it!
