I eat ramen often enough that I went through this bag pretty quickly. It's exactly what you're hoping it would be: finely shredded seaweed that you can sprinkle on top of foods - ramen, chief among them - but also salads or poke bowls. This stuff is basically pure seaweed, no added salt or other additives. So you probably won't enjoy eating this directly out of the bag the way you'd enjoy toasted seaweed snacks, but that's fine because this is meant as a condiment to put on top of food. It's easy to use and has a good texture when added atop a compatible meal.The value is... fine. You can probably get something like this for cheaper at your local asian grocer, honestly, but I think it's a reasonable price, especially because there are no additives and the quality is pretty high. Yes, the bag is kinda small, but if you get a giant bag, most of the seaweed will rehydrate and stop having that crispy quality. Unless you're an absolutely gigantic seaweed user, I would worry about that before I'd worry about finishing the bag too quickly.
