This kit features 2.5 ounces of wild caught albacore tuna with 17 grams of protein plus a packet of light mayonnaise, a packet of four large gourmet-level olive oil and sea salt crackers, non-GMO, and a packet of delicious dried cranberries. The tuna is high quality, flaky, packed in spring water, and tuna-y, though not overpoweringly so. I would say it's higher quality tuna than what is used in similar packages of ready-made tuna salad. This is tuna for those who do like tuna. Total calories are 270 with 27 carbohydrates and 2 grams of fiber. Tuna is from Thailand with crackers, mayo, and cranberries from the USA. The kit also comes with a wooden spoon sealed in paper. I will take this on bike trips, though it does need a small bowl or plate to mix the mayo and cranberries with the tuna. It would be possible to actually mix it in the tuna package, too. This is quality nutrition for energy and the cranberries are the right addition. Very tasty! Much of the packaging is recyclable.
