The texture is a cream and gives a very subtle sheer shimmer. Similar to a subtle highlighter, it's not super obvious. It does give an overall healthy glow look. Some of the glimmer does get on edges of clothes, but wipes off easily. This is a nice to have product for special occasions and date nights, and gives a great glow. The formula is more convenient to use on the body, but can get similar effects with a bronzer/highlighter.
