The bottle has a matte and soft finish that feels very high-end and unique compared to standard glass. The serum itself has a typical gel texture, and it’s easy to spread. I'm in my late 30s with oily skin and fine lines, and I appreciate a serum that doesn't feel heavy or sticky.The scent of this product is so entirely unique and makes the application feel like a spa visit. It’s hard to pin down exactly what it is, but it smells piney and fresh, maybe with a bit of tea tree and lavender mixed in. It's very clean and stays pleasant while you're working it into your skin. Being someone who’s tried a lot of mid to high-range skincare, I can tell this is a quality formulation. Just a pump or 2 is all you need.It didn't cause any irritation for the first couple days while I was using it morning and night, which was a relief since my skin isn't overly sensitive. By the third day, my skin was definitely a bit dry, but to be fair, the bottle mentions that might happen. I just took a short break and focused on my usual moisturizers for a bit, and when I started it again I used the sandwich method where I put moisturizer on both before and after it.
