Featuring ten individual compartments with approximately ½" of empty space between them, Caplugs Evergreen MC Series Immunostain Moisture Chambers 240-9020-Z10 are designed to maintain moisture levels for immunostaining and diagnostic reaction processes. They are available in three colors (this specific model is black) and are stackable in order to save counter and/or refrigerator space.Within the chamber, the slides are placed on four pedestal posts and four corner posts each 0.460" (11.5 mm) high, raising the surface of the slides approximately ½" off the floor to elevate them above the water and make them easily retrievable, either by hand or by forceps. When the lid is closed, eight barrier dividers are placed into the empty spaces between the slide compartments, keeping moisture in and completely isolating all compartments, a separation which is ideal for immunostaining.Our MC Series chambers are constructed from heavy-duty polystyrene (PS), a material that can withstand moderate temperatures and is compatible with a wide range of common laboratory reagents and solutions.This Caplugs Evergreen product is manufactured in the USA.
