I've been struggling with thinning hair on my crown for years and had been considering a wig topper. However, my sister who is a hairdresser told me it could be too much strain on my existing hair and might not look natural, so I decided to try this alternative. I did learn that you really need to shake the can well before applying it, and it’s best to part your hair in multiple spots when spraying, especially around my crown area. I have to be careful not to get it on my face, though, because even with caution, I end up with a few sprinkles that are easy to wipe off.I usually save it for special occasions since it’s a bit pricey, and I don’t want to go through it too quickly. But the cool thing is, after using it and not washing my hair for a couple of days, the color stayed in place, and my husband didn’t even realize I had used a spray! He actually thought it was my natural hair and complimented me on how much fuller it looked.I’ve found that if I part my hair in a certain way, the spray blends in so well that my thinning crown isn’t visible at all.
