Tasty, fermented, not overly garlicky, lots of uses for upping your umami quotient. The garlic bulb is black though the outer skins are not. Was a little challenging to find ways to use it that didn't change the color of the soup, stew or sauce, but it's good in marinara, beef stew, etc.
